Our first event with new promoter-partner, Sad House Daddy aka Nick Crispin, takes place on Sat 19 May.
Two of the finest folk bands around come together for this special show in one of London's most beautiful venues! Headliners, Glasgow power-trio the The Langan Band have travelled a long way since winning a Danny Kyle Open Stage Award at Celtic Connections 2008, not least musically, with their brilliantly tempestuous sound encompassing “a veritable United Nations of musical influences” (Folk Radio UK) with a deceptively stripped down line-up of vocals, guitar, fiddle, bass and percussion. Support, Whiskey Moon Face are an alternative folk trio based around double bass, accordion and clarinet, led by the stunning vocals and hallucinatory lyrics of singer, songwriter and virtuoso multi-instrumentalist Louisa Jones.
Tickets are exclusively on-sale via Music Planet Live.
The Chats Palace team are deliriously happy to confirm that we are relaunching our live music programme this month. With a set of exciting new partmerships in place with local promoters we are looking forward to a long hot summer of live and DJ music events showcasing local and emerging talent.
First event: Parallel Lines present W. H.Lung - making their London live debut - on 21 April 2018.
